    Scientific Research Context

What the published literature on the components of CJC-1295 (No DAC) + Ipamorelin Blend examines. These are findings about each compound in the studies cited, not claims about the blend or the supplied material.

    Ipamorelin: selective GH release

In rat pituitary cells, anaesthetised rats and conscious swine ipamorelin released growth hormone with a potency and efficacy comparable to GHRP-6. None of the secretagogues tested changed FSH, LH, prolactin or TSH. GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 raised ACTH and cortisol; ipamorelin did not, even above 200 times its GH-releasing ED50. [animal and in vitro]

    Which receptor ipamorelin uses

Profiling with GHRP and GHRH antagonists indicated that ipamorelin, like GHRP-6, stimulates GH release through a GHRP-like receptor and not through the GHRH receptor, the receptor CJC-1295 targets. [in vitro and animal]

The DAC relative of CJC-1295 in healthy adults

CJC-1295 with DAC, a long-acting analogue and a different molecule from the no-DAC form supplied here, raised mean growth hormone 2- to 10-fold for six days or more and IGF-I 1.5- to 3-fold for 9-11 days in a randomised placebo-controlled study of healthy adults, with an estimated half-life of 5.8-8.1 days. [human, DAC form only]

Where the CJC-1295 chemistry comes from

The original characterisation of CJC-1295 describes GRF(1-29) analogues bioconjugated to albumin and their activation of the GRF receptor on rat anterior pituitary. It concerns the long-acting conjugate rather than the unconjugated no-DAC form. [animal]

    Overview

In short: A fixed 1:1 research blend of CJC-1295 (no DAC) and ipamorelin, offered at 5 mg + 5 mg and 10 mg + 10 mg per vial: a growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analogue and a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist in one vial.

    Key research facts

  • Two growth-hormone-axis research peptides pre-combined at a fixed 1:1 ratio
  • Two vial strengths in one product: 5 + 5 mg and 10 + 10 mg
  • CJC-1295 (no DAC): tetrasubstituted GHRH(1-29) analogue acting on the GHRH receptor
  • Ipamorelin: pentapeptide characterised as a selective growth hormone secretagogue
  • Two different receptors on the same cell type, the usual reason the pair is studied together
  • These points summarise lab themes, not human outcomes.

The two compounds reach the same pituitary cell type through different receptors, which is the whole case for studying them together. CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF(1-29)) is the first 29 residues of growth-hormone-releasing hormone with four substitutions that make it resistant to the enzymes that normally inactivate the native peptide, and it acts on the GHRH receptor. Ipamorelin, Aib-His-D-2Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, was developed at Novo Nordisk and acts on a ghrelin-type receptor instead.

The ipamorelin paper is the useful reference for the second half of the pair. It reports that ipamorelin released growth hormone from rat pituitary cells with a potency and efficacy similar to GHRP-6, that antagonist profiling put its action at a GHRP-like receptor rather than the GHRH receptor, and that in conscious swine it did not raise ACTH or cortisol beyond the levels seen after GHRH stimulation, even at doses more than 200 times its GH-releasing ED50, where GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 did.

There is no study of this fixed blend cited here. The vial strengths differ only in quantity (CP10 is 5 mg of each compound, CP20 is 10 mg of each). Supplied as lyophilised powder for in-vitro and preclinical research only.

  • Research class: Fixed two-compound research blend
  • Components: CJC-1295 (no DAC) + Ipamorelin
  • Vial strengths: 10 mg, 20 mg per vial, chosen from the pack-size menu
  • Research focus: Pituitary growth hormone release through the GHRH receptor and the ghrelin-type receptor
  • Evidence base: Rat, pig and in-vitro data for ipamorelin; human data for the long-acting DAC relative of CJC-1295; none on this blend
  • Proposed Mechanism

The blend has no combined mechanism. CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a GHRH-receptor agonist and ipamorelin a ghrelin-type receptor agonist; both act on pituitary somatotrophs through different receptors. Pairing them is a hypothesis about those two routes, not a demonstrated property of the vial.

Pathway Effect Why it matters GHRH receptor (CJC-1295 no DAC) Tetrasubstituted GHRH(1-29) analogue designed to resist enzymatic inactivation One of the two receptors the pair is chosen to engage Ghrelin-type receptor (ipamorelin) Releases GH through a GHRP-like receptor, not the GHRH receptor The second route; the antagonist profiling in the ipamorelin paper supports the distinction ACTH and cortisol No rise beyond the GHRH-stimulated level for ipamorelin in swine, unlike GHRP-6 and GHRP-2 The selectivity result that made ipamorelin a research tool No shared pharmacology Each component retains its own published pharmacology Interpret results per component, not for the pair Deeper dive for scientific readers

Two different receptors on the same pituitary cell is the textbook reason to study a GHRH analogue and a ghrelin-receptor agonist together, but this page does not cite a study of that pair as a fixed vial, and the only human data cited concern the DAC form, which is a different molecule. A fixed 1:1 vial also removes the ability to vary one compound against the other. Use the stand-alone CJC-1295 (no DAC) and ipamorelin products when a design needs that independence.

    Common Questions People Are Asking

What is in the CJC-1295 (No DAC) + Ipamorelin Blend?

Each vial holds CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin in a fixed 1:1 ratio: 5 mg of each (10 mg per vial, code CP10) or 10 mg of each (20 mg per vial, code CP20). Choose the strength from the pack-size menu.

Why are the two compounds paired?

They act on the same pituitary cell type through different receptors: CJC-1295 on the GHRH receptor and ipamorelin on a ghrelin-type receptor. That is the rationale for studying them together. This page cites no study of the fixed blend itself.

Is this the same as CJC-1295 with DAC?

No. The DAC form carries an albumin-binding group and acts for days; the no-DAC form in this vial does not. The human study in the references used the DAC form, so its results are not findings about this blend.

Is there a Certificate of Analysis for this blend?

Not yet. No independent analytical report has been published for this material, so no purity figure is quoted. If one is published it will appear on this page and on our COA page.

Is there human data on this blend?

No study of the blend is cited. This is laboratory research material, sold strictly for in-vitro and preclinical research and not for human or veterinary use.

    Evidence Tier

Overall: Tier 3: Limited / anecdotal

The blend has no evidence base of its own. Ipamorelin has animal and in-vitro pharmacology; the human CJC-1295 data concern the long-acting DAC conjugate, not the no-DAC form in this vial. No study of the two as a fixed combination is cited. The material is supplied as unapproved laboratory material.

About the CJC-1295 (No DAC) + Ipamorelin Blend: Research Guide

CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin are two of the most commonly paired compounds in growth-hormone-axis research, one acting at the GHRH receptor and the other at a ghrelin-type receptor. Supplying them in one vial removes a weighing and reconstitution step for studies that call for a matched ratio.

The distinction between CJC-1295 with DAC and without it matters here. The DAC form carries a chemical group that binds albumin and extends its half-life from minutes to days; the no-DAC form supplied in this blend does not, and the human data in the references concern the DAC form. Nothing in this listing should be read across from one molecule to the other.

New-U Research Compounds supplies this blend as laboratory research material only. No analytical report for it has been published yet, so no purity figure is quoted. Nothing on this page is medical advice or a recommendation to use it in people or animals.
