Do you name your stock vials? Asking for me, who named mine.

Two labels per vial, as is law. But lately the second label has a name on it. Not a compound name. A name name. The GHK-Cu is "Bluey." I don't want to talk about it, but here I am, talking about it.

Tell me I'm not the only one who's anthropomorphised a freezer box.

My vials have ID codes, not names — but my inventory sheet has a SECOND sheet that names the codes, so I've essentially just added a translation layer to my own affection. It's fine. I'm fine.

"Bluey" is a perfect name and I will not hear otherwise. Mine is also blue. Mine is also named. We are not the same; we are exactly the same.

Tiny thermal label, compound on line one, name on line two. The printer doesn't judge. The printer is the only colleague who doesn't judge.

New here and I've already named a stock "Gerald." So glad to learn this is a recognised condition with a support group.

I don't name them. I do, however, refer to one specific freezer box as "the bad one" with real venom in my voice. So who's the weird one here, exactly.
