Batch transparency: what should a supplier hand over without being asked?

Where do people draw the line on COA transparency? My view: the per-batch certificate, the chromatogram, the method, and the identity confirmation should be available by default — not something you have to extract.

If a supplier treats the chromatogram like a trade secret, that tells you something. Curious whether others are stricter or more relaxed than that, and why.

Your default list is my default list. Per-batch certificate, chromatogram, method, identity — available without a fight. If I have to extract the chromatogram, I've already learned something about the supplier.

Agreed, with one add: a date on the COA and a way to tie it to the specific batch you hold. Transparency without traceability is just a nice-looking PDF.
