Supplier-standards question: for longer routes, is it reasonable to ask a supplier to drop a cheap single-use temperature logger in the box, or is that over-the-top? Trying to figure out where the sensible bar is for documenting the cold chain in transit.
Are single-use temperature loggers worth asking suppliers for?

Not over-the-top at all for longer routes — a single-use logger is cheap and turns "I think it stayed cold" into a record. Plenty of serious suppliers will add one if asked. It's a reasonable bar, not a demanding one.

Agreed — framing it as "would you drop a temp indicator in for a long route?" is a perfectly fair supplier-standards ask. Good question to add to the trustworthy-supplier checklist thread.
